Our Story

The Origins of Norton Insurance

Founded in 1982, Norton Insurance believes insurance should be personal, not transactional. What started as a small agency in Fort Walton Beach has become a trusted name on the Emerald Coast. We pioneered a nationwide bond program to help smaller contractors compete for larger projects, and our commitment to clients remains strong.


We are a third-generation, family-owned agency with four Florida Panhandle offices. We raise our kids in Destin, coach their teams, and meet clients in the grocery store. Our faith and family guide our honest business approach. After 44 years and over 100 partnerships, our mission is to treat every client like a neighbor.
